By creating an account or using Tokanban, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Tokanban is an agent-first task management platform. It provides a REST API, MCP server, CLI, and web dashboard for managing tasks, projects, and sprints. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You must not share API keys or agent keys with unauthorized parties.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure.
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the API.
• Use automated systems to create fake accounts or spam content.

Your data

You retain ownership of all content you create in Tokanban. We claim no intellectual property rights over your tasks, projects, or other data. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by requesting deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when feasible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tokanban and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
